In 2019, Vortex Hydra signed a contract for the supply of 6 spherical valves DN600 PN82 for the hydropower plant in Mottec, owned by Force Motrice de la Gougra (in partnership with Alpiq) and operated by HYDRO Exploitation.

Following the design phase, which took place between late 2019 and early 2020, the first two spherical valves were successfully installed in 2021, marking the beginning of a multi-phase project.

Installation of groups 3 and 1 in 2022 and 2024

After completing the installation of the first unit, Vortex Hydra continued with the installation of the subsequent two groups of valves. In 2022, the second group was installed and successfully commissioned, delivering excellent performance and quality. The installation of the third and final unit was successfully completed in 2024, bringing the project to a close within the agreed timeline.

The effective coordination between our engineers and the on-site teams ensured smooth execution of operations, allowing us to meet deadlines and fulfill the customer’s expectations.
